After returning to Los Angeles in 2020 and moving into Lemmy’s old apartment on the Sunset Strip, I only had one goal in mind; to record a great rock ‘n roll record. First I had to re-learn how to play guitar, then I had to find the inspiration to write new songs. Now I’m finally ready to release the music I’ve recorded over the past year. My new album DUEL will be released one song at a time, starting with Johnny B. Bad! I wanted to write a straight up rock song based around a 12 bar blues riff. The song is about a vagabond musician I used to know in Hollywood. If you’ve ever lived in LA, you’ve probably met Johnny at some point. The artwork photo was taken by Alex Solca in Downtown Los Angeles on a cold misty night. I felt this image perfectly captured the vibe for JOHNNY B. BAD! Here’s Johnny!
